Product description Tea Set Nam
The Nam tea set plays with bold geometric shapes and color contrasts. Black ceramic is complemented by a warm yellow glaze on the inside of the teapot and cups, with a delicate light-colored design on their exterior. The 500 ml teapot and six cups are perfect for sharing tea moments with family or friends.
Vietnamese ceramics with a modern twist
The Nam set comes from Vietnam, where ceramic craftsmanship and tea drinking both have a long-standing tradition. Nam sets itself apart from classic round tea sets with its bold geometric lines that repeat across the teapot and cups. Their shape is complemented by cleverly positioned handles and the striking contrast between the black exterior and yellow interior glaze.
What's included in the set?
- A ceramic teapot with a 500 ml capacity
- Six ceramic cups
The 500 ml teapot is well suited for shared tea sessions. Due to its angular opening, it is not compatible with standard round tea strainers and does not have a built-in strainer in the spout.
For loose leaf tea, you can use a paper tea filter, or let the leaves steep freely in the teapot and strain the brew through a separate strainer placed over the cup when pouring. Another option is to brew your tea in a separate vessel and use the Nam teapot purely for serving the finished brew.
Our tip – how to brew loose leaf tea without a strainer
If you let the tea leaves steep freely in the teapot, once the recommended steeping time is up, pour the entire brew through a separate strainer into the cups or a serving vessel. This way the leaves won't remain submerged in the water and the tea won't over-steep.
For teas suitable for multiple infusions, you can re-steep the leaves by adding fresh water at the appropriate temperature for that particular tea type. Adjust the steeping time for each subsequent infusion to suit your taste.
If you prefer a simpler preparation without straining, place your loose leaf tea in a paper tea filter, which will adapt to the angular opening of the teapot.
Embrace peaceful moments during a tea ritual and discover the beauty of slow brewing and mindful tea enjoyment.
