Our Tip – How to Brew Loose-Leaf Tea with a Removable Infuser Basket

Place the amount of loose-leaf tea into the removable infuser basket according to the type of tea and the amount of water you're preparing. Set the basket into the teapot, add water at the temperature recommended for that tea, and let it steep for the suggested time.

Once the tea is ready, remove the infuser basket along with the tea leaves from the teapot. This stops the steeping and the finished brew can remain in the pot without getting any stronger. Then pour it gradually into the small cups.

If the tea is suitable for multiple steepings, you can place the basket with the leaves back into the teapot later and brew another infusion with fresh water. With each subsequent steep, follow the characteristics of that particular tea and adjust the steeping time to your taste.
