Product description Tea Set Giang
The Giang tea set, featuring a 400 ml teapot and six cups, is perfect for a relaxed afternoon with friends or your everyday home tea ritual. The striking yellow ceramic and the teapot's distinctive shape make it stand out from anything you'd usually find in stores. And thanks to the built-in strainer in the teapot's spout, brewing multiple infusions is easy and hassle-free.
Vietnamese ceramics in a warm yellow tone
The Giang set comes from Vietnam and features a bold yellow to ochre-yellow color that gives off a warm, lively feel. The teapot has a one-of-a-kind shape with a tall arched handle, making pouring comfortable and effortless. The cups are small ceramic pieces with delicate little handles.
What's included in the set?
- Teapot with a capacity of approx. 400 ml
- 6 ceramic cups of approx. 50 ml each
- 6 saucers for the cups
- 1 saucer for the teapot
- Built-in strainer in the teapot's spout opening
The 400 ml teapot is a great fit for sharing tea with others. You can divide a single brew between all six cups, and with teas that are well-suited for multiple infusions, you can keep brewing round after round.
The cups hold approximately 50 ml each, which reflects the traditional Vietnamese way of serving tea — in small, more concentrated portions. One full pot fills all six cups at once, and you can easily prepare several infusions in a row.
The coarse strainer built into the spout opening catches larger loose-leaf pieces as you pour. Note that it is not a separate, removable strainer.
Our tip – how to brew multiple infusions
Once steeping is done, pour out the entire brew from the teapot so the leaves don't keep sitting in the water. Then pour fresh water at the right temperature for your tea back over the leaves.
With each subsequent infusion, pay attention to the taste and adjust the steeping time as needed. Many loose-leaf teas can be brewed multiple times, and each infusion can bring out a slightly different flavor profile.
Take a moment to slow down during your tea ritual and discover the beauty of mindful preparation and savoring every sip.
Care instructions
- After each use, rinse the teapot thoroughly with warm water
- To keep the ceramic looking its best, we recommend gentle hand washing
