Product description Tibetan Incense Sticks Buddha Chitta - Ohm
Buddha Chitta incense sticks are handmade in Nepal following traditional recipes using aromatic Himalayan plants. The blends are complemented by bodhi-chitta seeds, known as seeds of awakening, which have a long history in Tibetan incense traditions. The collection includes six scents whose names reference Buddhist values and intentions, such as peace, happiness, and harmony. The sticks are coreless (no bamboo core), wrapped in handmade Nepali paper, and come with a small wooden incense holder.
Ohm – the sacred syllable of the Himalayan mountains
Om is the sacred syllable heard in the recitation of Buddhist mantras. In Tibetan Buddhism, it forms part of the well-known mantra Om mani padme hum, associated with compassion. Buddha Chitta Ohm sticks feature Himalayan rhododendron, an aromatic plant native to high-altitude regions. Its scent evokes dried mountain herbs, where delicate floral notes intertwine with woody and lightly resinous undertones. The blend carries a natural, slightly wild aroma that pairs beautifully with the calm atmosphere of meditation.
