Product description Tibetan Incense Sticks Bodhileaf Green Tara
Bodhileaf Tibetan incense sticks are handcrafted in Nepal using traditional methods with aromatic herbs, woods, and resins. Each of the six scents is dedicated to a significant figure in Buddhist tradition and bears their name.
The sticks are wrapped in traditional Nepali lokta paper, made from the fibers of Daphne shrubs. Each package features a real leaf from the sacred Bodhi tree – the fig tree under which the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment.
Green Tara – Protector and Symbol of Compassion
Green Tara is one of the most revered feminine figures in Tibetan Buddhism. She embodies compassion, protection, and a readiness to help those who find themselves in difficulty. She is often depicted with one foot stepping forward – as if ready to rise at any moment and come to one's aid. Bodhileaf Green Tara carries a gentle, creamy woody scent of sandalwood with warm, lightly balsamic tones. The sandalwood here is neither sharp nor resinous – its soft, silky aroma with a hint of sweetness is well suited to moments of meditation, relaxation, and quiet evening wind-downs.
