Product description Tibetan Incense Sticks Singing Bowl Healing Manipuri
The Singing Bowl Healing incense stick range was created by combining two Nepali traditions – handcrafted herbal incense sticks and sound therapy with Tibetan singing bowls. Each scent in the range is named after a different type of singing bowl and is designed to support meditation, focus, or simply create a calm atmosphere in the room.
The sticks are handmade in Nepal from blends of aromatic herbs, woods, resins and spices, following recipes passed down by traditional "herbal masters". The formula also contains fine particles of gold and silver, as well as sacred water from Nepal and Tibet.
Connection to Tibetan singing bowls
Tibetan Singing Bowl Healing Manipuri incense sticks are named after a specific type of singing bowl – the Manipuri is one of the lowest-pitched and most open of the traditional singing bowls. They have a wide, relatively shallow body, and their name references the Manipur region in northeastern India. Their shape gives them a characteristically clear, pleasant tone – they can be played by striking with a mallet or running it around the rim.
The scent is composed specifically to accompany sound therapy and meditation with Tibetan singing bowls. At the heart of the blend is juniper wood, whose fresh, lightly resinous aroma forms the vibrant backbone of the composition. Cedarwood adds a dry, warm woody base, anise and cinnamon bring sweetly spiced notes, and clove rounds out the blend with an oriental warmth. The formula also includes fine particles of gold and silver.
What scents will you find in the Manipuri sticks?
- Juniper wood – fresh, evergreen-resinous fragrance
- Cedarwood – dry, warming base with a natural woody character
- Anise and cinnamon – sweetly aromatic notes with a gentle spice
- Clove – warmer, more pronounced spiced touch with an oriental character
- Fine particles of gold and silver – a declared ingredient in the formula and a traditional symbolic element of the entire Singing Bowl Healing range
