Product description Tibetan Incense Sticks Buddha Chitta - Himalayan Grass
Buddha Chitta incense sticks are handcrafted in Nepal following traditional recipes using aromatic Himalayan plants. The blends are complemented by bodhi-chitta seeds, also known as seeds of awakening, which have a long history in Tibetan incense traditions. The collection includes six scents whose names reflect Buddhist values and intentions, such as peace, happiness, and harmony. The sticks are coreless (no bamboo core), wrapped in handmade Nepali paper, and come with a small wooden holder.
Himalayan Grass – the scent of the Himalayan mountains
Juniper has a long-standing tradition in Tibet. Its branches are burned during Buddhist ceremonies, and their distinctive scent is an essential part of local incense rituals. Buddha Chitta Himalayan Grass features juniper berries, which give the blend a freshness reminiscent of pine needles and mountain herbs. Lightly resinous and woody notes bring out the aroma of dry twigs and alpine vegetation.
What defines Buddha Chitta Himalayan Grass
- Juniper scent – fresh, coniferous character with herbal and subtly resinous notes. Particularly well-suited for those who prefer natural, less perfumed aromas.
- Bodhi-chitta seeds – a traditional ingredient in Tibetan incense blends, rooted in Buddhist incense ritual.
- Coreless sticks – you burn only the aromatic ingredients, nothing else
- Handcrafted – made using traditional Nepali production methods
