Product description Tibetan Incense Sticks Bodhileaf Avalokites
Bodhileaf Tibetan incense sticks are handcrafted in Nepal using traditional methods, with aromatic herbs, woods, and resins. Each of the six scents is dedicated to a significant figure from Buddhist tradition and bears their name.
The sticks are wrapped in traditional Nepali lokta paper, made from the fibers of Daphne shrubs. Each package features a real leaf from the sacred Bodhi tree — the fig tree under which the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment.
Avalokiteśvara – the Bodhisattva of Compassion
Avalokiteśvara, known in Tibet as Chenrezig, is one of the most revered figures in Buddhism. He embodies compassion for all living beings and is often depicted with many arms, symbolizing his readiness to help. Bodhileaf Avalokites carry a distinctly fresh eucalyptus scent with a characteristic cool, lightly camphor-like quality. Its clean, aromatic notes are complemented by a gentle herbal fragrance reminiscent of freshly crushed eucalyptus leaves.
