Using the Kaloud Lotus I+3 Niris correctly will ensure the best possible results and maximum product lifespan. Please follow these steps:

• Place the HMS on a compatible bowl
• Insert 2–4 fully lit coal cubes
• Regulate the temperature by opening or closing the rotating lid
• Do not pack the bowl so high that the shisha touches the bottom of the HMS — there must be an air gap between the tobacco and the HMS
• Never pre-heat the HMS without coals

Important note on coals: Quick-light coals are not suitable for the Kaloud Lotus I+3 Niris. They do not produce enough heat to properly warm up the HMS. Use only coconut coals or natural wood coals.

Bowl compatibility

The Kaloud Lotus I+3 Niris is compatible with most commonly available Turkish and phunnel bowl models. On most bowls, the HMS rests on the top rim of the bowl and does not fit into the inner part or any grooves. This is the standard way to use it, and compatibility — and therefore full functionality — is fully maintained.

• Never place a hot Kaloud Lotus I+3 Niris on a coal burner or expose it to direct contact with an open flame
• Do not clean the surface with steel wool or other abrasive materials — they may damage the finish
• Do not use chemical cleaning agents or a dishwasher
• Never touch the HMS while it is hot — there is a serious risk of burns!
• After each use, allow the Kaloud Lotus I+3 Niris to cool down completely in a safe location
• Never place a hot HMS in water or expose it to sudden temperature changes — this may cause material damage
• Due to repeated exposure to high temperatures, partial or complete loss of surface color may occur on the bottom of the HMS — this is normal material wear and not a product defect
