At SHANTI, we've drawn on years of experience in the hookah world and partnered with Dýmkařův koutek to create our own HMS: ATASH (meaning "Holy Fire" in Persian) — a heat management system that brings together tried-and-tested features in a single HMS, topped off with a handful of practical improvements. The result is a hookah setup where heat management is straightforward, functional, and enjoyable. Get ready for great hookah sessions with the ATASH heat management system!

ATASH is manufactured entirely in the Czech Republic.

• Durability and versatility

The single-piece aluminum alloy construction makes it lighter than most HMS on the market, while still being tough enough to hold up in a hookah lounge setting — and affordable enough for home hookah enthusiasts.

• Efficient air circulation

The interior base features a functional spiral design that allows smooth airflow beneath the coals. This helps coals retain heat longer, prevents them from going out, and keeps ashing to a minimum.

• Stability

The textured rim on the base helps keep the HMS in place and prevents it from sliding off the bowl.

• Universal compatibility

Compatible with most standard bowls with a diameter of 68–77 mm.

Compatibility note: On most bowl models, the HMS sits on top of the bowl's upper rim rather than fitting into its inner cavity or grooves. Full compatibility and functionality are maintained regardless.

• Minimalist design

The sleek matte anthracite finish looks great on any hookah.

• Practical packaging

ATASH comes stored in a handy protective case for easy storage and transport. Once you remove the inner insert, the case can also be repurposed as a shisha tobacco tin or a holder for other hookah accessories.

• Optimal size

This is a medium-sized HMS without a lid, and it fits:

3× 25 mm coals
2× 26 mm coals
2× 27 mm coals (with a little care)

Coal note: Quick-light coals are not suitable for use with ATASH, as they don't generate enough heat to properly warm up the HMS. Different brands of coconut coals vary in their properties and heat output, which directly affects the performance of the heat management system and the amount of heat distributed to the bowl.

HMS ATASH Usage Instructions

Please read the following instructions carefully and make sure to maintain the HMS properly:

• Before first use, rinse ATASH with clean water and dry thoroughly.
• The HMS gets extremely hot during use — always handle it with tongs and exercise great caution.
• Never place the HMS on a hot coal burner or expose it to direct flame.
• Do not use steel wool or sharp objects to clean it, as these can damage the finish.
• Do not clean with harsh chemical products, and never put it in the dishwasher!
• After use, allow the HMS to cool down completely — never place it under water or back into its case while still hot.
• ATASH should only be stored in its case once it has fully cooled and dried. Moisture can cause unwanted changes to the surface finish.
• Avoid exposing ATASH to sudden or extreme temperature changes.
• The textured base rim can trap residue. We recommend keeping the bowl's rim clean and free of molasses, which can burn onto the heated surface.
• During use, try to prevent the heat management system from making contact with the shisha tobacco in the bowl. This will help avoid tobacco pieces, juices, or molasses burning onto the exterior base of the HMS.

NOTICE: Due to very high temperatures and regular use, the surface color may partially or completely change over time. This is a natural result of normal wear and is not considered a product defect — and therefore does not constitute grounds for a warranty claim.
