How to enjoy Haze tobacco to the fullest

To get the most out of each loaded crown, we recommend following these instructions:

1. Before loading, mix the tobacco leaves thoroughly with the molasses. Do not squeeze the molasses out of the tobacco or otherwise dry it out.
2. Use your fingers to fluff the tobacco slightly over the edge of the crown (fluff overpack).
3. If you are using tinfoil, make sure it is sealed tightly over the crown or over the protruding tobacco and poke holes in it with a toothpick or poker. If using HMS, simply place it over the crown. For both options, the tobacco should be touching the surface of the foil or HMS.
4. Shake the crown so that the holes are not plugged with tobacco. Alternatively, test for patency by sucking from the bottom of the crown.
5. Make sure the embers are completely lit. Haze tobacco tolerates heat a little better than other tobaccos, so don't be afraid to use one more ember than you normally use. Always place the coals towards the edge of the crown - NEVER in the middle.
6. Let the tobacco warm up for about 30-45 seconds, then you can start to enjoy the great flavor.
7. If you find that the flavor and smoke starts to fade after 30 minutes, the tobacco probably doesn't have enough heat. Add coals or shake off the ash.
