Product description Tibetan Incense Sticks Bodhileaf Namthoesae
Bodhileaf Tibetan incense sticks are handcrafted in Nepal using traditional methods with aromatic herbs, woods, and resins. Each of the six scents is dedicated to a significant figure in the Buddhist tradition and bears their name.
The sticks are wrapped in traditional Nepali lokta paper, made from the fibers of Daphne shrubs. Each package features a real leaf from the sacred Bodhi tree – the fig tree under which the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment.
Namthöse – Guardian of Abundance
Namthöse, also known as Vaishravana, is one of the protective deities in Tibetan Buddhism. He is associated with wealth, abundance, and generosity, and is often depicted with a mongoose releasing jewels. Bodhileaf Namthoesae carries a deep, warming myrrh fragrance with rich balsamic and resinous notes. A subtle spiciness and slightly bitter undertone give it the character of traditional oriental incense. Myrrh is one of the oldest and most prized aromatic resins, and its scent still evokes the atmosphere of temples and ceremonial rituals.
