Product description Blooming Tea Queen of Gold
Watch your tea bloom right before your eyes. This blooming tea with calendula and peony conceals white tea leaves along with calendula and peony blossoms inside a hand-tied ball. Once steeped in hot water, the tea leaves slowly begin to unfurl, revealing vibrant flowers within. In just a few minutes, an ordinary cup of tea transforms into a truly beautiful spectacle.
The white tea delights with a delicate, fresh, and subtly sweet flavour. Blooming tea is best enjoyed in a glass teapot, where you can watch the full blooming process unfold. It also makes a wonderful gift for tea lovers who enjoy discovering something new.
Blooming teas – a small work of art from China
Blooming teas, also known as flowering tea, originate from China and carry centuries of tradition. Tea leaves are hand-tied together with carefully selected flowers into compact balls that slowly and elegantly open during steeping, just like a living flower.
Why you'll fall in love with Queen of Gold?
- A hidden calendula blossom inside – once steeped, the tea leaves slowly open to reveal a calendula and peony flower
- Handcrafted in China – each ball is carefully hand-tied from selected tea leaves and flowers, making every single one unique
- Delicate white tea flavour – fresh, subtly sweet, and naturally refined
- Multiple infusions – a single ball can yield up to 1–1.5 litres of tea by gradually topping up with hot water
- A unique and impressive gift – perfect for anyone who appreciates tea specialities and extraordinary experiences
How to prepare Queen of Gold blooming tea?
For the best experience, we recommend using a clear glass teapot – only then can you fully appreciate the beauty of the blooming tea as it unfurls.
- Place one tea ball into a glass teapot or a larger glass cup.
- Pour 0.5 l of water at 70–80 °C – this temperature is gentle enough to preserve the delicate flavour of white tea.
- Allow the tea to steep for a few minutes and take a moment to watch the leaves slowly and gracefully open up.
- Once the brew suits your taste and the flower is fully bloomed, you can start serving and enjoying.
- Keep topping up with hot water as needed. A single ball can yield approximately 1–1.5 litres of tea, depending on your preferred strength.
