Product description Blooming Tea Blossom Marigold
Watch your tea bloom right before your eyes. Blossom Marigold hides within a hand-tied ball white tea leaves and a marigold flower. Once steeped in hot water, the tea leaves slowly unfurl to reveal a vibrant bloom. In just a few minutes, a simple cup of tea transforms into a truly beautiful spectacle.
White tea has a delicate, fresh, and lightly sweet flavour. Blossom Marigold is best enjoyed in a glass teapot, where you can watch the entire blooming process unfold. It also makes a wonderful gift for tea lovers who enjoy discovering something new and out of the ordinary.
Blooming teas – a small work of art from China
Blooming teas, also known as flowering tea, originate from China and carry centuries of tradition. Tea leaves are hand-tied together with selected flowers into compact balls that gradually and elegantly open up during steeping – just like a living flower coming to life.
Why you'll fall in love with Blossom Marigold
- A marigold flower hidden inside – once steeped, the tea leaves slowly open up to reveal a marigold blossom
- Handcrafted in China – every ball is carefully hand-tied from selected tea leaves and flowers, making each one truly unique
- Delicate white tea flavour – fresh, lightly sweet, and naturally refined
- Multiple infusions – a single ball can yield up to 1–1.5 litres of tea by gradually topping up with hot water
- A unique and impressive gift – perfect for anyone who appreciates specialty teas and memorable experiences
How to prepare blooming white tea
For the full experience, we recommend using a clear glass teapot – only then can you truly appreciate all the beauty of the blooming tea.
- Place one tea ball into a glass teapot or a large glass cup.
- Pour 0.5 l of water at 70–80 °C – this temperature is gentle enough to preserve the delicate flavour of white tea.
- Allow the tea to steep for a few minutes and simply enjoy watching the leaves slowly and gracefully unfurl.
- Once you're happy with the flavour and the flower is fully open, you can start serving and savour every sip.
- Keep topping up with hot water as needed. A single ball can yield approximately 1–1.5 litres of tea, depending on your preferred strength.
