About the Koh-Do collection

The Koh-Do collection is inspired by the Japanese art of Kōdō (香道) – literally "The Way of Fragrance" or "The Art of Listening to Scents". This traditional Japanese art has been practiced since the medieval period and stands alongside the tea ceremony (Chadō) and ikebana (Kadō) as one of Japan's most refined classical arts. The Koh-Do collection draws directly on this rich tradition – through its name, philosophy, and carefully chosen artistic expression. How to use incense sticks?

Light the tip of the stick and allow it to smolder for a moment.
Extinguish the flame with a quick wave of your hand.
Place the stick in a dedicated incense holder or insert it into sand.
Once the stick has burned out, ventilate the room.
