Since 1992, everything has been overseen by the non-profit Goloka Seva Trust, based in Bangalore, India — a city widely regarded as the heart of the Indian incense industry. The sticks are also made using a time-honoured traditional method: herbs, flowers, honey, wood powder, resins, and essential oils are combined into a dense mixture and hand-rolled onto a bamboo core.
