When you're building your own hookah from scratch, or just picking out new accessories, you may also need a connector to connect the hose to the hookah outlet. However, it depends on the type of hookah. Some are made in such a way that you can attach the silicone hose directly to the outlet and don't need a connector. If a connector is necessary, check whether or not you can get by without a gasket.
