Fermented Chinese tea from Yunnan Province, pressed into tiny "bird's nests". The leaves used come from tea trees of the ta-jie species - translated as 'big leaf'. This type of tea is typical of the Yunnan region and has spread to other parts of China since the 13th century thanks to the Kublai Khan's expeditions.
Practical packaging is ideal for travel or for making tea anytime, anywhere.
Preparation of one nest per 0.3 litres of water:
Use water heated to approximately 95°C and allow to infuse for 3-5 minutes.
Tip for preparation:
Take the times given as recommendations. During the infusion you can pour off some tea, taste and strain the whole infusion or leave it to infuse for a while. If you prefer a stronger flavour, try more tea leaves, a higher water temperature or a longer steeping time. Don't be afraid to try different variations - that's the best way to find out what you like best.
