Encore of Eclipse is unique even among Woodstock Encore chimes. Its sound is as exceptional as the eclipse itself. In fact, its tuning is based on a musical phenomenon called parallel harmony or doubling the octave. Simply put, each note appears again, just an octave higher. The sound of this particular chime is stunning because of the harmony that is created as the individual notes are added to the sound of the doubled note. This gives the chime a new range and a whole new dimension to the sound.
