The Chime Trio is a trio of bells, inspired by ancient Chinese bells, playing peaceful tones.

Since ancient times, bells have been used as a warning against danger, to induce harmony or as an accompaniment to dancing. The Chinese were the first to control the pitch and colour of the bell tone, allowing them to play melodies on bells. Bells thus became accompaniments or invitations to festivals, prayers, meditations and rituals. For centuries, bells have been hung in temples and homes to ward off evil and attract good fortune and prosperity. The Temple Chimes Quintet is inspired by these temple bells and plays its gentle, soothing melody with every gust of wind.
