Mandalas

The word "mandala" comes from Sanskrit and means a circle with a centre. The circle is an important symbol accompanying mankind since time immemorial, it represents infinity and eternity, without beginning and without end. The shape of the circle appears all around us (tree rings, snowflakes, spider webs...). In the centre is a fixed point to which everything relates and by which everything is ordered. Everything starts at the central point and proceeds in concentric circles away from the centre. Every mandala is based on this principle.

The mandala is a bioresonator, its vibrations harmonize the environment, calm and heal. Therefore, mandalas are used to harmonize space as well as for meditation or to promote healing. In addition to the shape of the circle, the motifs depicted (the tree as a symbol of life, the butterfly as a symbol of transformation, etc.) and the chosen colours, whose vibrations also have their own specific effect, are also at work here.
