Rudraksha is the dried woody seed of the sacred Elaeocarpus granitus tree, tied to a legend of the god Shiva. According to the tale, the god Shiva decided to meditate on humanity for a thousand years. At the end of his meditation, he was so filled with divine compassion that he began to weep. Wherever his tears fell, trees grew, and their fruits were named "God's Tears" – Rudraksha.

Caring for Rudraksha
Since Rudraksha absorbs the energy of its wearer, it should not be touched by others.
It is recommended to occasionally cleanse the Rudraksha with lukewarm water, gently scrub it with a soft brush, and allow it to dry naturally. You can then treat the seeds by applying a small amount of oil, ideally coconut or almond oil. Avoid contact with chemical detergents.
