Green maté (Yerba maté) with orange flavour is valued for its strong long-lasting stimulating effects. The maté is sipped by South American Indians in a calabase container using a bombilla tube.

The tea in the container remains protected from the elements, so it does not degrade, such as becoming damp, weathered or spun.

Recommended preparation of 0.5 litres of tea:
First infusion - pour 10-40 g of tea with about 80°C boiled water into a calabash according to the calabash content, second infusion - pour about 85°C boiled water into a calabash.
