Product description Japanese Incense Sticks Nippon KOHDEN Sweet Aloeswood
KOHDEN
For centuries, faggots and arabesque patterns from distant lands came to Japan along the Silk Road. Kohden scented sticks are packaged in boxes decorated with arabesques with herbal designs, paying homage to the people of old who brought the fumigants to Japan. Kohden, the "fragrance of communication" reflects the continuation of the heritage of the Japanese fumigants. These sticks have a delicate fragrance, and the artisans take great care in selecting ingredients from different Asian countries. Drawing on the long history of Japanese culture, Kohden scented sticks will bring you into a wonderful world and to experience an eternal moment.
Sweet Aloeswood (Agarwood)
Country of origin: Indonesia
Raw material properties. As the trees grow, bacteria begin to interact and an aromatic resin is formed. Over time, this matures into a very thick dark resin with a distinctive, pleasant aroma. Due to their density caused by the high resin content, agarwood trees cannot stay afloat. Therefore, in Japan, this fragrant wood is called "jinkoh", which means "fragrance and heavy wood that sinks".
Scent: Sweet, spicy
Use: Excellent fragrance for moments of meditation and relaxation.
